About Us

We at Stillwater have spent years travelling to shoot in the San Francisco area. We have been at the forefront of the trend of wedding videographers being replaced by wedding filmmakers, focusing on beautiful cinematic visuals and emotionally engaging storytelling. But we have always lived in a smaller, slower paced town, and it is truly where we are most at home. Our favorite films were shot in the rural beauty of Northern California, whether in the cool shade of the Redwoods, the rolling green meadows dotted with oak trees, or the gold expanse of fields of oats. Over the years, a desire to work right in the beauty of our own backyard took root and we now find ourselves sticking a little closer to home, still finding inspiration in every curve of the red dirt road, where still water runs deep.
